Teen Camp

Hodia Teen Camp | Jun 18 - Jun 21, 2021 | Jul 25 - Jul 31, 2021

For teens currently in 8-12 grade

Session 1: Hodia Teen Camp Session 1 will be our first overnight camp in Preston, Idaho! This session is intended for teens currently in 8-10 grade. We will have many of the classic activities of Teen Camp plus some new additions unique to a new venue! We hope your camper will sign up for Hodia’s first program at the Day Mountain Resort! The Directors of Hodia Teen Camp Session 1 are Angela Hoffman and Michael Hoffman. Learn more about our awesome Directors, and the rest of our incredible volunteer leadership team!

Session 2: Hodia Teen Camp Session 2 will be the closest to traditional residential camp that Hodia will have this summer. Our hope is to create the most normal camp experience for our oldest campers. We have a strict capacity for this program and preference will be given based on grade of the camper. Current 12th and 11th graders will be given priority registration, see below for more info on this. Session 2 will take place at our longtime overnight camp location, Luther Heights Bible Camp. Participants will enjoy getting to see their friends and participating in everything from whitewater rafting to laketime, campfires to hikes and everything in between. Transportation for this session will be provided by Hodia this year, there will be no parent drop-off option at Luther Heights. We will share the transportation specifics as camp gets closer. Our goal is to have all campers immunized for this session. The Director of Hodia Teen Camp Session 2 is Alan Bean. Learn more about our awesome Director, and the rest of our incredible volunteer leadership team!

In an effort to limit camp sizes, we have an opportunity to add more sessions this year. Welcome to Hodia Teen Camp: Session 1 and Session 2!

Session 1 is for teens currently in 8-10 grade! (The traditional Teen Camp at Luther Heights, called Session 2 this year, will be smaller capacity and fully vaccinated, for the oldest teens this year.) We hope you will join us for horseback riding, hiking, hanging out with friends, campfires, and more! Learn more about our 2021 Session 1 camp location here: https://www.dmrresort.com/

Session 2 will take place at Luther Heights Bible Camp, although we will provide your camper with transportation to camp this year. Session 2 is for the oldest teens. Our goal is to have all campers immunized for this session. Enrollment preference will be based on a schedule according to current grade of the camper and we will move through the enrollment phases until we reach capacity:

  • 12th graders preferred enrollment is from 5/6 – 5/20
  • 11th graders preferred enrollment is from 5/21 – 5/28
  • 10th graders preferred enrollment is from 5/29 – 6/5

Once capacity is reached for Hodia Teen Camp Session 2, Teen Camp campers may opt to participate in Hodia Wilderness Camp or Hodia Teen Camp Session 1. We realize this is a new format this year and are grateful for your flexibility as we try to make the best experience possible for everyone that we can. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our camp office.

*10th graders should plan to attend Session 1 this summer. In the unlikely event that the traditional camp at Luther Heights does not fill we will reach out to you individually.

Camp Fees

Subsidized Camp Fee

This fee is for families in our service area: Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Western Wyoming. Generous supporters make this subsidy possible, and we are so grateful for each of those donors.*

Full Camp Fee

The true cost of camp. This is the fee for campers outside of our service area and for those who can pay the fee. Selecting this option allows us to spend donated funds on subsidy and/or campership of families with true financial need.

Thanks to many generous donors, Camp Hodia has never turned a child away for financial reasons. Simply sign-up for camp and complete the Campership Application. Camperships are based on financial need. If you have an extenuating financial situation and need a full campership, or need accommodations to pay the registration fee, please call us.
