Learn More About Becoming A Volunteer!
Welcome to Hodia
We provide educational camps and programs for youth with type 1 diabetes regardless of their ability to pay.
Hodia is fun and offers kids the opportunity to share common experiences, meet others with diabetes, and form meaningful friendships. For many campers, this is their first time away from home. Our programs strive to foster self-esteem and self-reliance in a safe, healthy environment.
Give the Gift of Giving
On the surface, Hodia is a camp for kids. But in reality, Hodia is so much more than that.
We’ve created a place where kids who feel different get to feel normal. A place where kids who feel limited or held back get the chance to do things they never thought possible. At Hodia, we give our campers more than just a fun experience away from home. We give them hope, education, friendship, community, and independence.
