Hodia Junior Camp | Jun 26 - Jun 29, 2021 | Jun 29 - Jul 02, 2021

For kids currently in grades 1st – 7th

Hodia Junior Camp and Hodia Kids Camp will combine to have 2 awesome sessions this year! Both sessions will take place at a new venue in Preston, Idaho! We will have many of the classic activities of Junior Camp plus some new additions unique to a new venue! We hope your camper will sign up for all the Hodia fun to be had at the Day Mountain Resort!

In an effort to limit camp sizes, we had an opportunity to add more sessions this year. So select the session that is better for your schedule, and make plans to join us! We hope you will join us for horseback riding, hiking, hanging out with friends, campfires, exploring lookouts, wildlife and more! Camp Activities

Arts & Crafts

Kids will spend time exercising the right side of their brains at camp! From bracelets, trinkets, and sculptures, our kids discover artistic talents, which some continue to pursue long after camp is over.

Children at an indoor carnival.

Carnival Party

During the Carnival Party, campers are treated to a variety of exciting activities. From face painting to fortune telling to ring tosses, kids earn tickets to be exchanged for prizes at the end of the day!

Children hiking.

Hiking

Some of the nation’s most spectacular hiking trails are in our backyard! Hodia campers of every skill level get the opportunity to explore the Sawtooth Mountains including hikes to high mountain lakes.

Kids sitting on log at lake shore.

Lakefront

The beautiful Alturas Lake provides the perfect playground for campers. Swimming, water-skiing, and canoeing are always a highlight. All water activities are supervised by trained and registered lifeguards.

Campfire with group of kids.

Campfire

During campfire, campers are treated to songs old and new and have the opportunity to unwind from their busy day. Many years, we have storytime at campfire!

Kids on horses.

Horseback Riding

Campers have the opportunity to explore from the back of a horse! This may be the start of a career in horse wrangling!

Camp Fees

Subsidized Camp Fee

$460

This fee is for families in our service area: Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Western Wyoming. Generous supporters make this subsidy possible, and we are so grateful for each of those donors.*

Full Camp Fee

$1500

The true cost of camp. This is the fee for campers outside of our service area and for those who can pay the fee. Selecting this option allows us to spend donated funds on subsidy and/or campership of families with true financial need.

*Camperships

$50

Thanks to many generous donors, Camp Hodia has never turned a child away for financial reasons. Simply sign-up for camp and complete the Campership Application. Camperships are based on financial need. If you have an extenuating financial situation and need a full campership, or need accommodations to pay the registration fee, please call us.
