Buddy Camp

Hodia Buddy Camp - Treasure Valley | June 16, 2021

For kids currently in grades PreK – 5th

Children with type 1 diabetes are invited to bring a buddy without diabetes to come enjoy a community camp day together! This session of Buddy Camp will be at The Boise Watershed to explore natural wonders! Camp will take place from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

We need a separate camper registration for each participant, so please register your T1D and your Buddy separately.

The Director of Hodia Buddy Camp Treasure Valley is Dan Flynn. Learn more about our awesome Director, and the rest of our incredible volunteer leadership team!

Campers will attend a fun program that is geared toward meeting their needs in relation to diabetes. Kids who join us at Hodia Buddy Camp will meet new friends, learn about Camp Hodia programs, and have a fun time while showing their buddies that diabetes does not limit them from doing all the fun things everyone else does. This session of Buddy Camp will be held at the Boise Watershed! We are working with the Boise Watershed crew to create a day of friendship, support and splashtastic adventure! We hope you will join us!

Camp Fees

Subsidized Camp Fee

This fee is for families in our service area: Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Western Wyoming. Generous supporters make this subsidy possible, and we are so grateful for each of those donors.*

Full Camp Fee

The true cost of camp. This is the fee for campers outside of our service area and for those who can pay the fee. Selecting this option allows us to spend donated funds on subsidy and/or campership of families with true financial need.

Thanks to many generous donors, Camp Hodia has never turned a child away for financial reasons. Simply sign-up for camp and complete the Campership Application. Camperships are based on financial need. If you have an extenuating financial situation and need a full campership, or need accommodations to pay the registration fee, please call us.
